Youth Conference - 2012

Youth Conference was held "down the shore" this year.  The events took place in the Cape May building and the youth stayed with members from Cape May Branch and Linwood Ward.  Steve, Megan, Nate and the rest of the youth from Medford Ward headed out Wed. evening.  Unfortunately, Nate only made it to Friday morning before I had to go get him.  He had started to feel sick on Thursday, and it go worse through the night.  Steve and Meg were able to stay for the whole thing, though.  It sounded like a lot of fun.  Here are some photos of the happenings.

On Thursday they participated in the Helping Hands service project where they cleaned up from a previous storm that took down a lot of trees.  After the project they went to the Cape May Zoo.  Here are Megan and Lana feeding some goats.

They whole youth crew....Megan is top-mid right with the white headband and Nathan is hiding in the back, mid left...peeking out over Elvis' shoulder

On Friday, after some major thunderstorms, they went to the beach.   Believe it or not, this is a group of youth and leaders, all just happen to be the best of buds.

 Megan, Lana, and Kate

 Brigham, Megan, and Austin
These two were leaders and are like big brothers to Meg

Ali, Lana, Emily, Megan, and Caroline......can you pick out the chaperon?

Some of the Medford girls....Natalie, Autumn, T'yanna, and Megan

The lighting is not great on this photo, but I wanted to put one in of Meg and her Daddy.  It was special to have him there with her at her last conference.

Here are Autumn and Megan. (and Sister Feuz in the background)  Autumn's dad was baptized a few months ago.  She took some missionary discussions too and decided to come to youth conference and see what this church was all about.  At the  closing testimony meeting, she stood and bore her testimony of the truthfulness of the gospel.  She was baptized 3 weeks later.  Megan has loved being on this journey with her.
