Family Fun Times in Idaho

We took our little tiny family to Idaho this year for a few days before my class reunion. It was just Steve, Evan, and I that were able to go because Emily was in New Jersey working, Nathan was at scout camp, Megan was at EFY, and Stephanie and Janelle (and her family) were in Utah. Of course, Geoffrey is still serving his mission in Albania.

We weren't sure how Evan would do with no siblings around, but he just really enjoyed being able to spend time with us, Grandma and Grandpa Tucker, and all his aunts, uncles, and cousins. It turned out to be a lot of fun.

We hung out at Grandma's house

Evan golfed with Grandma Tucker.....

...and went for a ride with Grandpa!

Evan, mom and I also took a little trip to Bear World. This is a drive through park with a little petting zoo and kiddy rides at the conclusion. We had a fabulous time.

We saw buffalo, elk, deer, wolves, and even a moose. But the main draw was the bears....

Evan had fun feeding the petting zoo animals...

...and riding on the rides.

While we were enjoying Bear World, Grandpa and Steve took a 60 mile four wheeling adventure. Here are some photos post trip. Just a little bit of mud!!!!! They had a great time.

One of the hard things about living far away from your family is missing the little everyday things shared with them. Here are some of my favorite little things we got to do while there.....eat on mom and dad's beautiful deck overlooking the golf course, go to lunch with my mom and sisters to celebrate Jan's birthday, see a little of Hannah's softball game, attend a temple session, go shopping, get and ice cream cone at Reed's Dairy, and just hang out and visit. It was so nice.
