Emily and Jim were married in the Washington DC LDS Temple on November 19, 2011. We traveled down to Washington on November 18th and Jim and Em both received their endowments that night. We were so happy to have so many family members be able to come for the special occasion. Grandma and Grandpa Tucker came from Idaho as did Jill's sisters, Jeri and Jan, and Jan's children....Austin, his wife Caitlin, Nick, and Rebecca. Stephanie and Marc came from California, Geoffrey from Utah, and Janelle, Scott, Alan, and James from Boston. Grandma Foulk, Megan, Nathan, and Evan came too. Even though Jim's family are not members of the church, his mom, Carol; brother, Marc; and family friend, Renee also came down to DC. The temple sealing ceremony took place on Saturday morning with Brother Bert Willis performing the sealing. Bishop and Sister Feuz came down for the sealing as did two of the missionaries who had been instrumental in Jim's conversion, Elders Baugh and Call. It was a lovely day and the weather, although cold, was clear.
Here are some photos of some of the happenings of that special day.
