Nathan's Eagle Project

Sooooo, it's been a long time coming, but this week Nathan gathered some very kind ward members and friends together and we all assembled over 500 hygiene kits for the Christian Caring Center in Pemberton.  Nathan has been working on collecting and soliciting donations for about 8 months so that he could accomplish this worthy goal.  Members of the ward donated unused hotel toiletries, etc. and some local dentists, hotels, and other businesses donated as well.  Nate had to purchase a few needed items, but for the most part, was successful in encouraging others to donate.  He still has a few items to finish up for his Eagle Scout award, but the project is, for the most part, completed.  Yay!!!

Loading the collected items into the car

Setting up the assembling stations

Ready to go

Everyone was so helpful - Very appreciated

Some of our faithful ward members

Even the missionaries got involved

We served juice and doughnuts to all who came to help.  Even the cups were donated by a local hotel.

These busy folks helped finish the 500 kits in less than a 1/2 hour

Our helpers

And a crazy shot, of course

Looking good

Finished kits in boxes in the car

And a parting shot of our fearless leader....Great Job, Nate!!
